{Travel}: Olympic Peninsula

A week or so ago (Sorry I am catching up!) I went out to Ocean Shores, WA with Brad and his mom for a mini vacation to enjoy the WA coast!

It wasn’t a tropical beach but that didn’t stop Brad from going into the frigid ocean!

Ocean Shores has a new souvenir shop called Sharky’s with a giant Great White at the entrance. We were super excited for all of the cool shark stuff, to then be underwhelmed with what the store actually had. But that’s because we are used to the HUGE souvenir city in Gulf Shores, AL with TONS of stuff. I did find Brad a cool book about the making of Jaws though! After a relaxing beach weekend we drove up to Lake Quinault on the way home and saw the World’s Largest Spruce Tree!

We then stopped at the historic Lake Quinault Lodge.

And the beautiful and peaceful Lake Quinault.

We also stopped on the way home in Dupont, WA at a pizza place called Farrelli’s Wood Fire Pizza. And the Americana pizza was DELISH! Highly recommend stopping here.

Now I need a vacation from all of my vacations. Do you ever feel like that?

Here’s to relaxin’,
